The MotoGP test of the Honda team is claimed to run okay, as revealed by the 2018 world champion, Marc Marquez. The Repsol Honda rider also asked his team to remain vigilant.

Honda, which just won the triple crown in MotoGP 2018, underwent a two-day test at Jerez on November 28-29. Marquez closed the test by finishing second under Takaaki Nakagami on the second day.

Marquez said he was satisfied with his performance at Jerez. He even considered the test at Jerez was the best preseason preparation so far.

"On the second day, I was very happy, because maybe it was one of the best days during the pre-season, how we worked. At Valencia, we were also very good," Marquez said as reported by Crash.

"Yesterday we worked well, but I was not prepared for the conditions due to illness. Today I have been better, so I can work better. We tried many things, got a lot of information, electronics, chassis, engines, even tires. "

"We concentrate all day on medium and hard rear tires, which no one uses, just to understand and prepare for next season. In the end, this is a good one and we are happy with what we do," he explained.

The next MotoGP test will take place at the Sepang Circuit, Malaysia, February 2019. Marquez claims he will continue to study information about his motorbike, while monitoring the development of rival teams such as Yamaha, Ducati and Suzuki.

"For two months, they were able to do a lot of things and would be a step, so we had to be careful and ready if the rivals got up. It looks like Ducati works pretty well, Yamaha has a little difficulty with rhythm, but on one lap they are very tight," he explained.
