Andrea Dovizioso was pleased with the results of Jerez's MotoGP test. The Ducati Rider is sure to face the 2019 season in the best conditions.

Dovizioso finished the second day of the MotoGP test at the Jerez Circuit on Friday (30/11) early morning, in the eighth position. Note the best time is one minute 38.292 seconds.

Dovizioso is only 0.3 seconds slower than Takaaki Nakagami who appears as the fastest rider. The Italian rider saw the positive development of the motorbike he rode.

A test at Jerez also called Dovizioso helped Ducati get a clearer picture of which areas needed to be repaired. He is also optimistic that he will start the 2019 season in the best conditions.

"Last night I was fine and my wrist no longer hurt. It made me work well, confirmed what we had done in Valencia. The goal was that and I was happy because now we have clear ideas. Our speed is good, but we still lack a little something, "said Dovizioso as quoted by the GPOne.

"The increase is not big, but it is natural because this is not a motor that is definitely used. I can say we are on time and focused."

"I think since joining Ducati, I will start 2019 in the best condition. I can say that because there is a constant development and that does not always happen. When there are a rise and fall, that means something is wrong," continued Dovizioso.

"We tested many things, Ducati can manage the motor in a certain way and do a lot of tests. All of this is positive because that means development can be accelerated, but we still need to be careful," he said.
